intuiting the infinite

schleiermacher says that we intuit the infinite;
we find ourselves absolutely dependent;
a particular part of the universal one and all.

consciousness flows through us and returns to the whence -
the whence from which we all - it all - came.

religion is feeling, not knowing or doing;
accompaniment that turns the melody of life into the harmony of existence.

it's pretty, but lonely and disconnected.
you can't intuit anything together, feeling is solitary.
and you can't live a life of integrity - getting all one's parts in sync with one another - when the ground of your being exists as an incomprehensible sensibility and taste for the infinite. there's no correlation, no translation, no integration.

i'm writing a paper: the paper that will not end.
it just goes on and on, my friends.
somebody made me start writing it,
i didn't know what it was
but i'll continue writing it FOREVER, just because
this is the paper that will not end.
it just goes on and on, my friends...
