5. A Christmas Story
4. Home Alone
3. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer
2. Frosty the Snowman
1. How the Grinch Stole Christmas (cartoon version)
Corrections? Additions? Bones to pick?
I shall pick this bone: Programs 1-3 are not movies but television specials. Also, Christmas Story is clearly superior to Home Alone, although the latter is quite good in its own right.I would add two movies to this list:1) A Christmas Carol, starring George C. Scott as Scrooge2) Die Hard...Don't believe that it's a Christmas movie? Watch it again. It even has carols as part of the soundtrack.
I think it is awful that you left out:ElfWhite Christmas
Just a caveat: the list was formulated with two teenage girls. it was hard to even weed out all the Boomerang features (which is apparently the newest incarnation of Cartoon Network).
Hahaa....that's the best list of movies in "our time". But I couldn't even begin to compose a list without A Muppets Christmas Carol (I looove the little bunny!). But if I wanted to expand my horizons...gotta have Its a Wonderful Life
I agree with you on Love Actually! Awesome, sweet flick. And, um, I LOVES me some Earnest Saved Christmas, or whatever it's called. :-)
