strongly encouraged to seize the hope set before us


Analysis abounds the morning after. I'm not inclined to add to it - everything is already being said, and then some. But, did you see his little girl wallerin' around on her Mom during the speech? Did you hear that biblical rhetoric, used so subtly but so powerfully? Did you notice that tribute, paid to the stories that formed this man? Did you feel that pull toward possibility? Can't you imagine this new thing, just around the bend?

I know I'm an a-political anabaptist and all, but good lord. That man brought a Word.

dana, you are so easily swayed by words...

yes, it was a good speech, but it also could have been better.

what it wasn't, as you seem to suggest, is prophetic or biblical...

except to say that the words of false prophets are often sweet on the ear...

i'm an obama supporter, but the use of the word Word to describe a politician's speech is insulting and blasphemy against the only true Word...
