New food. You’re now in love with Lebanese food and you didn’t even know what it was in January of this year.
While I did become a big fan of fish tacos in San Diego, I'm not sure those count as "new." It's just fish, you know, in a taco. Guacamole also defies the category, but I spent so much time this year craving and creating and consuming it that I'm going to give it honors anyway. I swear, there must have been a newly created liturgical season of Avocado through the summer months. Could not quench the desire for the life of me. And it continues.
